The Buffalo is revered by many tribes across Native Country. His strength and tenacity is represented by the lightning and colors radiating from his center. The Hopit utilize the strength of the buffalo to call in the winter storms (colored clouds on top) to leave a thick layer of snow among the lands (white layer and brown layer representing snow seeping into underground water stores) to help with dry farming practices. Kwaqkwa!
